Healthcare

Reliance Group recognizes the lack of quality and professional healthcare facilities available in our community. We consider healthcare our focus area in order to help bridge the gap between people who need proper healthcare services and the availability of quality healthcare. Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai spearheads our social initiatives in this area. Through Mandke Foundation, we have set up oncology centers in remote areas of Maharashtra. We also conduct various healthcare programmes across all earmarked villages at our site locations.

Our CSR programmes offer preventive, promotive and curative healthcare services in partnership with local government medical departments, technical institutions and barefoot volunteers. For instance, initiatives under ‘Swasth Chetna’ are designed to extend quality healthcare facilities catering to the specific needs of children through medical camps held in schools; adolescent girls and women through our alignment with government schemes and by holding monthly workshops with gynecologists and doctors to promote institutional deliveries and sanitation practices; and other community members (through Mobile Medical Units and routine health and immunisation camps.
